The Sex Workers’ Project aims to provide an innovative aproach to prevention of STD/HIV/AIDS among commercial sex workers.  Operating mainly in Hubli (zone 5 of HDMC limits), we work with directly with 800 women and more than 1200 indirectly.

We aim to promote:

• Changes in sexual behaviour through effective communication.
• Treatment of sexually transmitted infections.
• Education about the use of condoms.
• Collectivization.
• Advocacy for the rights of the these women.
