In 2004, when the Milan Project commenced, we interviewed 94 female sex workers and 18 community operatives (doctors, police constables and community leaders).
In April 2007, we repeated the research, interviewing 61 female sex workers (including ten HIV positive women) and 15 community operatives, from across the project’s 9 slum areas.
